General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Article 1 – Purpose and scope

These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter "T&Cs") govern sales of products concluded remotely on the Glowcony website (hereinafter "the Site") between the seller designated in Article 2 (hereinafter "the Seller") and any natural person acting for non-professional purposes (hereinafter "the Customer").

The Customer declares to have read and accepted the T&Cs before placing an order. The applicable T&Cs are those in force on the date of the order. They are accessible at any time on the Site and are attached to the order confirmation email.

Sales are open for delivery in the countries listed on our Delivery page; available countries are displayed at checkout.

Article 2 – Seller Identity

Article 3 – Products

The essential characteristics of the products (description, dimensions, composition, compatibility, instructions for use and safety) are presented on each product page. The Customer is invited to read them before placing any order.

Photographs and videos illustrate the products as faithfully as possible; slight differences in rendering (colors, brightness) may exist depending on the screen used. Product safety information (manufacturer, responsible person in the European Union, warnings) appears on the product page under the "Product Safety" section.

Offers are valid while stocks last. In the event of unavailability after ordering, the Customer will be informed without delay and may cancel their order; they will then be reimbursed within 14 days.

Article 4 – Price

Prices are indicated in euros, including all applicable taxes. Any shipping costs are indicated before order confirmation; when the mention "Free delivery" appears, no shipping costs are charged.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties or import taxes may be levied by the destination country; these remain the responsibility of the Customer.

Bundled offers (purchase of multiple products) entitle the customer to the discount displayed on the product page, which is applied automatically in the cart. Any price reduction announcement is calculated in accordance with Article L. 112-1-1 of the French Consumer Code.

The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the price in effect at the time of order validation.

Article 5 – Ordering

To place an order, the Customer selects the product(s) and the desired offer, adds them to the cart, provides their contact details and delivery address, chooses their payment method, and then verifies the order summary (products, total price, costs, delivery time) before validating it via the payment button, which constitutes an order with an obligation to pay.

The Seller sends the Customer an order confirmation email summarizing the order, accompanied by these T&Cs and the withdrawal form. The contract is formed upon receipt of this email.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of a previous dispute, suspicion of fraud, or non-payment.

For any order amounting to 120 euros or more, the Seller keeps a record of the contract for 10 years and makes it available to the Customer upon simple request (Articles L. 213-1 and D. 213-1 of the French Consumer Code).

Article 6 – Payment

The price is payable in full at the time of the order, using the methods offered on the payment page (credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other displayed methods). Payments are processed by secure payment service providers; the Seller never has access to the Customer's full credit card details.

The order is only processed after confirmation of payment by the provider.

Article 7 – Delivery

Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer when ordering. Estimated shipping and delivery times are indicated on the product page and reiterated before order validation. Products may be shipped from the warehouses of our logistics partners, which may be located outside of France, and may arrive in multiple packages.

The Seller undertakes to deliver no later than the date or within the period indicated when ordering. In the absence of an indication, delivery occurs no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract (Article L. 216-1 of the French Consumer Code).

If this period is exceeded, the Customer may instruct the Seller, in writing (email), to perform the delivery within a reasonable additional period; if the delivery does not occur within this period, the Customer may terminate the contract and will be reimbursed for all sums paid no later than 14 days thereafter (Articles L. 216-6 and L. 216-7 of the French Consumer Code).

The risk of loss or damage to the products is transferred to the Customer at the moment they take physical possession of them (Article L. 216-4). In the event of a damaged or incomplete package, the Customer is invited to report it to the Seller as soon as possible, with supporting photos, to facilitate the processing of their claim; this process does not deprive the Customer of any of their legal rights.

Practical details can be found in our Shipping Policy.

Article 8 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days to withdraw, without having to justify their decision or bear any costs other than those provided for below. This period runs from the receipt of the product by the Customer (or, in the case of an order for several products delivered separately, from the receipt of the last product).

How to withdraw: the Customer informs the Seller of their decision before the expiry of the period, by either:

The Seller acknowledges receipt of the withdrawal without delay, by email.

Return of products: the Customer returns the products, complete and in their original packaging if possible, accompanied by any gifts received as part of the offer, no later than 14 days after communicating their decision to withdraw, to the return address provided by email. Return costs are the responsibility of the Customer.

Reimbursement: the Seller reimburses all sums paid, including initial shipping costs (based on the standard delivery method), no later than 14 days from the day they are informed of the decision to withdraw. They may defer the reimbursement until the products are recovered or until the Customer has provided proof of shipment, whichever is earlier. The reimbursement is made using the same payment method as that used for the order, unless the Customer expressly agrees to another method, and at no cost to the Customer.

The Customer's liability may be incurred in the event of depreciation of the products resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.

Article 9 – Legal guarantees

The Seller is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L. 217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), under the following conditions:

The consumer has a period of two years from the delivery of the good to invoke the legal guarantee of conformity in the event of a lack of conformity. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date of its appearance.

When the contract for the sale of the good provides for the supply of digital content or a digital service on a continuous basis for a period exceeding two years, the legal guarantee applies to this digital content or service throughout the provided supply period. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or service and not the date of its appearance.

The legal guarantee of conformity entails an obligation for the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the good.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to the repair or replacement of the good within thirty days of their request, at no cost and without major inconvenience to them.

If the good is repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.

If the consumer requests the repair of the good, but the seller imposes a replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date of replacement of the good.

The consumer may obtain a price reduction by keeping the good or terminate the contract with a full refund against return of the good if:

  • 1° The professional refuses to repair or replace the good;
  • 2° The repair or replacement of the good occurs after a period of thirty days;
  • 3° The repair or replacement of the good causes a major inconvenience for the consumer, particularly when the consumer permanently bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming good, or if they bear the costs of installing the repaired or replaced good;
  • 4° The lack of conformity of the good persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the good or to the termination of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination of the contract. In this case, the consumer is not required to request the repair or replacement of the good beforehand.

The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.

Any period during which the good is immobilized for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the restored good is delivered.

The rights mentioned above result from the application of Articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.

A seller who in bad faith obstructs the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of the average annual turnover (Article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects in application of Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the customer to a price reduction if the good is kept, or to a full refund against return of the good.

To implement a guarantee, the Customer contacts customer service via our contact form, specifying their order number and the defect observed (photos or video are welcome).

Article 10 – Electrical equipment and packaging (WEEE)

Electrical and electronic products must not be disposed of with household waste. In accordance with regulations, the Customer may return their old equipment of the same type to us free of charge when purchasing new equipment ("one-for-one" take-back): contact us via our contact form. They can also deposit it at a collection point (waste disposal center, equipped store).

Article 11 – Liability and force majeure

The Seller is fully liable for the proper execution of the contract, including when it is executed by service providers (logistics provider, carrier), except in the event of the Customer's fault, an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party, or a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

Article 12 – Personal data

The Customer's personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which specifies the purposes, recipients, retention periods, and the Customer's rights.

Article 13 – Intellectual property

All elements of the Site (texts, photos, videos, logos, brands) are the property of the Seller or its partners. Any reproduction without authorization is prohibited.

Article 14 – Customer service and complaints

For any question, complaint, or request regarding an order: use our contact form. The Seller undertakes to respond within 48 business hours.

Article 15 – Governing law and disputes

These T&Cs are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer may choose to bring the matter before the court of the place where they resided at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the occurrence of the harmful event, or any other court that has territorial jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure.
